  • Brooklyn eardrum-busters A Place To Bury Strangers share a new track today from their forthcoming fourth release, Transfixiation.   • Last night, the Northwest's own The Decemberists stopped by Conan to perform the track "Make You Better," from their upcoming release, What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World.   • Wooden Shjips side project Moon Duo share a new track from their upcoming release, Shadows of the Sun. Stream the haunting track "Animal" below. In a press release, the band describes the new album by saying, "there are off-kilter dance rhythms, repetitive, grinding riffs, cosmic trucker boogies, and even an ecstatically pretty moment." Shadows of the Sun is due out March 3rd via Sacred Bones Records. [Consequence of Sound]
