  • Seattle's own These Arms Are Snakes called it a day back in 2010, but tracks from their final recording session continue to surface. Local label Suicide Squeeze share a cover the band did of "Energy Drink and the Long Walk Home" by Jay Reatard’s early band Lost Sounds. Their rendition appears on a split 7" with The Coathangers, available now. Bassist Brian Cook told Vice.com, "There is still a four song demo that we’ve discussed releasing. We mastered it for vinyl a few years back, but I’m not sure what happened to that project." [Consequence of Sound]

  • U2 have announced the North American and European tour dates for what they're calling the iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE tour. Seattle was unfortunately left off the schedule, but the superstars will play two nights in Vancouver on May 14th and 15th at Rogers Arena. In a press release, frontman Bono states, "We are going to try to have a completely different feeling from night one to night two, and have some fun playing with the idea of innocence and experience. More to be revealed!" [Pitchfork]

  • Syracuse punkers Perfect Pussy transformed the Deerhoof track "Exit Only" from a three minute track into an eleven minute avant garde jam. Check out their remix below. You can find the original version on Deerhoof's thirteenth album, La Isla Bonita, out now on Polyvinyl. [Under the Radar]
