  • As if the weather isn't getting dreary enough, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds will ensure things get darker as they prepare to reissue fourteen of their classic albums on deluxe vinyl. Each release will be lovingly remastered by Bad Seeds co-founder Mick Harvey, with reproductions of both the original covers and inner sleeves. The first batch of seven reissues comes out before year's end: From Her To Eternity, The Firstborn Is Dead, Your Funeral… My Trial come out on October 27th; Nocturama, Abattoir Blues/The Lyre Of Orpheus, Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!! hit stores on November 17th, and Kicking Against The Pricks sees daylight on November 28th. The next seven is planned for an early 2015 release. [Under the Radar]

  • Last night, Neil Young stopped by The Colbert Report to talk about his new album, Storytone; his new book, Special Deluxe: A Memoir of Life And Cars; and a new music player, Pono. Accompanied by Colbert on acoustic guitar (jokingly dubbed "Neil Young and Crazy Host"), the two performed the track "Who's Gonna Stand Up?", which you can watch below. • Mark your calendar: Prince returns to Saturday Night Live on November 1st as the musical guest alongside host Chris Rock. It'll be his first time back at 30 Rock since 2006, and only his third performance overall. [Under the Radar]
