Possible actual magician Dustin Wong has moved back to Japan and recorded his new album Mediation of Ecstatic Energy -- which could not describe Wong's performances better. Sitting still while slowly pushing switches on numerous pedals and moving his fingers across his guitar, he is able to generate energy enormous enough for him to fill cavernous halls with his ecstatic joy. Today, we get "The Big She" from the upcoming album as well as a slew of tour dates. [Impose]

The Adult Swim Singles series does it again, this time enlisting Lightening Bolt with their track "Barbarian Boy" -- a sludgy journey through shrill guitars and a repetitive tribal chorus that thuds along creating this face-melting cacophony. The Blow are back with a new self-titled album. Though you will recognize many of their signature sound stylings, the duo has said "making this album was an odyssey of experimentation." MGMT will be releasing their next self-titled album in September, and today they have an amazing and hilarious new video for "Your Life is a Lie" -- which seems to come as a surprise to some, but not at all to others. Eccentric characters abound and visual trickery is a constant throughout the anthem to knowing and not-knowing what your life is. [Pitchfork]

Animal Collective have a video for "Monkey Riches" -- it feels a bit like a low-quality children's program gone awry. Ropes dance and jangle as a sorcerer conducts them, and a boy descends into a rope-filled well.

Scotland's electro-pop trio CHVRCHES have released a video for their single "The Mother We Share." Where the video starts in a seemingly easy to understand emotional and visual space, by the end it erupts into a world of geometric glitching and spirals of glowing light. [GvsB]

Brooklyn's The So So Glo's have released an adorable video for "Dizzying" in collaboration with nonprofit organization, OMG Everywhere, and with a group of excited and inventive kids as well!
