KEXP Album Premiere: Indians - Somewhere Else

This summer we were treated to an early look at Indians, a new one-man project by Denmark’s Søren Løkke Juul, who dropped by KEXP to preview four new songs during a recent in-studio session. Already, with just a rough demo, the Copenhagen-based artist had thrilled so many with his wholly accessible, airy blend of ambient electronica and psych-tinged folk-pop, that he earned touring spots with a variety of artists like Beirut, Bear In Heaven, Dan Deacon, Lower Dens, Perfume Genius, Savages, and most recently Other Lives. Later this month, Juul will join the ranks of Bon Iver, St. Vincent, Tune-Yards and other like minded artists as he officially releases the Indians full-length debut through 4AD. You can pick up Somewhere Else in stores on January 29, but you can listen to the entire album now through this exclusive premiere:
