We're going all the way back to 2015 for today's Song of the Day, "The Same" by LA-based trio Moaning. While the first version of the song was originally recorded and released via a low-budget video of the band destroying a soon-to-be-demolished house, the band didn't release their debut album, which includes "The Same," until this past Friday, March 2nd. Their patience paid off, as the band landed a deal on Sub Pop and released their self-titled debut through the storied label. This week, the trio are embarking on an international tour that will see them make a stop in Seattle on Friday, May 11 to play Barboza. - Jasmine Albertson
