This year KEXP’s Volunteer Engagement Program saw huge milestones. We had our first in-person volunteer appreciation party since the pandemic, and it was wonderful to gather together to enjoy live music and finally connect in-person. KEXP 50, our 50th anniversary celebration, was a great opportunity to reactivate our volunteer events team; we could not have executed that day without volunteer support! We’re also excited to see volunteers regularly at the station again, now that we have re-opened our Viewing Gallery, Hospitality, and Front Desk teams. And of course, we are so grateful for our remote volunteers who have continued to support KEXP’s various programming across all fronts, including DJ assisting, Concert Calendering, Music Charts, Transcription, Music Library, Data Analytics, Software Development and more.
