KEXP is proud to announce the release of our brand-new iOS app! Rebuilt from the ground up by volunteer developers Tuan Vu and Kori Kolodziejczak in collaboration with Seattle-based design agency BLAMO, the redesigned iOS app has an elegant new look along with an intuitive menu interface. It also marks the return of our popular Streaming Archive feature. We know you've waited a long time, and we truly thank you for your patience. Addressed in this exciting new build are the following:

The new KEXP iOS application is a testament to KEXP volunteers and supporters of the station and the passion they bring. In tight coordination between volunteers and KEXP technical staff, the new application was designed to be intuitive, intelligent, and allow for future growth and features. Technologies such as FFMPEG, Swagger, NGINX, and Virtual Machines all power the backend providing a reliable experience. Now you can take KEXP with you on the go, anywhere in the world! The new KEXP iOS app is available for free download from the App Store now. PLEASE NOTE: Please make screen shots of your favorites before updating as the install will overwrite any saved favorites you might have.
