KEXP Youth Resonance is an advisory group board whose purpose is to contribute their perspectives as young creatives to the programming culture of KEXP. The goal of this group is to help guide KEXP’s service to the local music and arts community, particularly the youth of that community. We aim to promote youth centered and inclusive programming, events, and opportunities at KEXP while also creating and supporting platforms that amplify young voices and leadership. KEXP Youth Resonance identifies innovative techniques to promote the music scene to young music lovers and the development of platforms for young musicians in the Greater Seattle Area.
The application cycles for 2020 - 2022 have been cancelled due to COVID-19.
Applicants
We’re looking for those who show an interest in the committee and/or have experience with KEXP or other similar organizations to apply. Members of the board must be between the ages of 16-24 at the time of membership. Leadership must be committed to a two-year term and general membership must be committed to a one-year term.
Commitment
KEXP Youth Resonance Board meets monthly, except for November and December due to the holiday season.
