How to Enter:

A. Be automatically entered when you make a new donation of $40 or more OR increase your current Amplifier gift by $3 a month at KEXP.ORG. Make your donation before 6pm on Tuesday, July 21st to be entered to win. 

B. Write a postcard to KEXP (no donation necessary) with your name, address, email address, and phone number where we can reach you. You may send one standard-size postcard per household to:

Flyaway Rules and Regulations:

Anyone who makes a new donation to KEXP of $40 or more,  increases their current Amplifier donation by $3 a month or more, or sends a postcard with their contact information between 6:00am PST July 9th, 2026, and 6:00pm PST July 21st, 2026 is automatically entered into our flyaway contest for a trip for two to Seattle to attend the 2026 KEXP BBQ.

One entry per household will be accepted.

Contest Description:

The KEXP BBQ Flyaway Prize Package includes:

• Airfare for two from a major hub airport within continental U.S., provided winner is outside of Western Washington (no travel provided for flights to Seattle from Clallam, Clark, Cowlitz, Grays Harbor, Island, Jefferson, King, Kitsap, Lewis, Mason, Pacific, Pierce, San Juan, Skagit, Skamania, Snohomish, Thurston, Wahkiakum, or Whatcom counties).

• Three (3) night hotel stay a MarQueen Hotel (Fri 8/21 arrival - Mon 8/24 checkout)

• Two (2) 2026 KEXP BBQ tickets

• $50 Gift Card to Caffe Vita

• Station tour & KEXP swag

NOT INCLUDED in prize package:

Transportation to and from airport within continental U.S. and between lodging and KEXP BBQ.

All other expenses, including but not limited to meals, additional accommodation, travel insurance, incidental expenses, tips, transfers, and taxes will be the responsibility of the prize winners. No substitution or transfer of prizes is permitted. Prize is not redeemable for cash or exchange. 

Eligibility:

All contest entrants must be 18 years of age or older to enter and to be eligible to win. Void where prohibited. Employees of KEXP and companies donating contest prizes, plus their immediate family (spouse, parent, sibling and children, regardless of where they live) or members of their same households (whether related or not) of such employees and directors are not eligible.

Notification:

One (1) sweepstakes grand prize winner will be randomly selected by KEXP and notified by phone by July 28th, 2026. After notification, the contest winner must provide their full legal name, a signed W-9, and the name of their guest so that travel arrangements can be booked. Odds are determined by the number of entries. The decision of the judges is final. KEXP reserves the right to change dates and substitute prizes of equal value.
