International Clash Day

KEXP celebrated International Clash Day on Friday, February 7th, with a whole new take. We honored the legacy of The Clash while also expanding how we approach the day by featuring artists who share the ethos of the only band that matters. That’s right, between 5 AM and 7 PM Pacific each of our DJs spotlighted artists who’ve changed our world for the better. It’s a GIGANTIC radio clash, right here on KEXP.

Featured Artists:
Early w/ Eva Walker: Lee "Scratch" Perry
The Morning Show w/ John Richards: The Clash

The Midday Show w/ Albina Cabrera: Tijuana No
The Afternoon Show w/ Larry Mizell Jr.: Jay Dilla
Drive Time with Evie Stokes: Patti Smith
