Angus Andrew’s experimental rock project Liars have announced a new album called Titles With the Word Fountain. It follows last year’s TFCF (Liars' first album without member Aaron Hemphill) and this year’s score to the film 1/1. The album was recorded during the same session as TFCF and uses similar album art, with the same image of Andrew dressed as a bride multiplied.

“To me it’s more like a sequel,” Angus said in a statement. “I chose the songs that appear on TFCF based on how well they addressed the trauma of a failed creative relationship, whereas the material on Titles With the Word Fountain is more playful despite revolving around the same sentiments.”

Titles With the Word Fountain is out digitally and on cassette Sept. 21 through Mute. Listen to the album’s first single “Murdrum” and watch a 2014 KEXP in-studio with Liars below.
