Earlier this year, everyone's favorite bald vegan returned with a new project, Moby & the Pacific Void Orchestra. A track from their debut LP These Systems Are Failing was already a KEXP Song of the Day pick (listen here), and today, we've got a video for the track "Break. Doubt." Watch below. In the January issue of Guitar World, cover girl St. Vincent confirms a new album will be out in Spring 2017. She calls it "the deepest, boldest work I’ve ever done," adding, "I feel the playing field is really open for creative people to do whatever you want, and that risk will be rewarded—especially now that we have such high stakes from a political and geo-political standpoint. The personal is political and therefore the political can’t help but influence the art. And only music that has something pretty real to say is gonna cut the mustard." Beloved local drone metal band Sunn O))) have announced some 2017 tour dates, but oddly, not a single Seattle show? Well, the east coast is in luck anyway, as is London, for one night at the Barbican. The band have also made last year's single “Aokigahara // Jukai” available for a free download, so if you're yearning for some music named after a forest in Japan where an unfortunate large number of people have committed suicide, go get it! While most bands are laying low for the holidays, Sylvan Esso brought their stylish electropop sounds to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Watch the Durham, North Carolina duo perform the catchy-as-heck single "Radio" below, which came out earlier this year as a 12" single. And yes, though a title and a release date have not yet been established, a sophomore full-length is indeed on the way next year. [Spin]
