  • UK group Alt-J tried out a cover of the Disclosure track "Latch" during a BBC Radio session recently. Who knows what covers they might tackle when they stop by KEXP's studios on Monday, October 13th? Watch below: [Consequence of Sound]

  • Meanwhile, Brooklyn group Lucius tackled a cover of the My Morning Jacket track "Wonderful" off 2011's Circuital release. The live acoustic rendition, recorded for Los Angeles radio station KCSN, will be included on the deluxe edition of Wildewoman, out October 14th on Mom+Pop.   • And one more cover: over the weekend, Tears for Fears stopped by the Project Pabst Music Festival in Portland, and delighted the audience with their take on Radiohead's "Creep." Watch fan-shot footage of their performance below. [Under the Radar]

  • Adding to their discography of excellent album titles, Belle and Sebastian return next year with the full-length Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance, out January 20th on Matador Records.
