  • NYC-based project Hercules & Love Affair have always had a knack for pairing their dance tracks with excellent guest vocalists (remember their collaboration with Antony of Antony & the Johnsons in 2008?). The continue that tradition with none other than John Grant -- hear him on the track "I Try To Talk To You" below. • Not to be outdone by her former Sleater-Kinney bandmates in Wild Flag, Corin Tucker has embarked on her own supergroup. The band make their live debut tonight in Portland at the Secret Society Ballroom. [Consequence of Sound]

  • During a recent visit to NME, Sharon Van Etten recorded this lovely acoustic version of the track "Every Time The Sun Comes Up," from her forthcoming album Are We There, out May 27th on Jagjaguwar.
