This Beverly, MA band's third album is an impressive set of cinematic post-rock instrumentals incorporating elements of shoegazer psych-rock, ambient, metal and classical, featuring an expansive sound with searing guitar drones, atmospheric synths, electronic samples and loops, occasional strings, piano, ghostly choral voices and more on slowly building songs that evolve from spare, delicate ambience to muscular, emotionally powerful crescendos. 10/1/2012
