The fourth album from Noddy finds the Seattle synth/pop enthusiasts blossoming from predominantly the solo work of Jared Mills to a fully-fledged five-piece band, leading to a more communal, expansive sound. The infectious melodies, massive hooks, propulsive production, and heart-on-sleeve swagger are all still present; the main notable difference with the new formation is a sharing of vocal duties, with a few songs featuring rapping passages and Noddy's lone female member, Cynthia Brothers, taking lead on "Demon Skull," one of the record's highlights. 10/21/2011
