This New Zealand band finally follows up their promising 2007 EP with their debut full-length, and it’s a scorcher straight from the noisier side of classic New Zealand indie-pop (particularly the Clean and Tall Dwarfs), with a treble-heavy sound featuring ringing, distorted guitar drones, chugging rhythms, distant vocals and lots of sticky pop hooks. 11/12/2010
