The debut album from Glasser (aka LA’s Cameron Mesirow) is a promising set of arty folk-pop featuring lush arrangements combining tribal rhythms and icy synths along with other instrumentation ranging from strings and woodwinds to a variety of exotic percussion, but the most powerful instrument here is Mesirow’s own crystalline voice. 10/1/2010
