The debut album from this Australia-via-South Africa trio is an impressive set of sleek, infectious electronic-pop that has quickly, deservingly garnered comparisons to Hot Chip, Junior Boys, The Teenagers, and Cut Copy. Their light, carefree, 80s-drenched sound can intermittently come off as forgettably airy or awkwardly yacht rock-y, but Clubfeet showcase an undeniable knack for crisp production, effortless melodies, inescapable hooks, and delightfully cheeky vocals. 8/12/2010
