The 2nd album from this Seattle band led by ex-Das Llamas frontman Kerry Zettel is an excellent set of goth-tinged folk-rock with Zettel’s dark songs often beginning starkly before blossoming into full arrangements featuring acoustic guitars, handclaps, whistling, glockenspiel, autoharp, mandolin and assorted other instrumentation along with some gorgeous melodies. 8/25/2008
