This young Georgia singer debuts with this remarkable throwback to the heyday of ‘60s soul and classic Motown. His fiery, gospel-infused vocals are strongly reminiscent of the great Jackie Wilson, and he flat-out nails this mix of well-chosen, mostly obscure covers along with a few strong originals. Simply wonderful. 4/13/2007
