An excellent EP from this British band combining angular New Wave pop with aggressive post-punk. You’ll hear bits of XTC and Wire in their sound (not to mention more modern types working similar musical terrain like the Futureheads and Franz Ferdinand), but the propulsive, ultra-catchy songs plow right over any quibbles about originality. 1/31/2005
