This British trio’s second album is an excellent outing of dark, folk-tinged rock. While their first album was more stripped-down and acoustic-oriented, they use a wider variety of instrumentation on the follow-up to flesh out a number of fractured pop songs with drop-dead gorgeous melodies and bittersweet lyrics. 1/20/2005
