With their trademark mix of pop and experimentations and infectiously
mesmerizing, droning vocals, I keep hearing that this CD is the one that's
gonna propel this Scottish-foursome into the mainstream, garnering them
the attention they have long-deserved. All I know is that it's been over
3 years since their last release and they are The Beta Band. That's all I
need to know. They're the fucking Beta Band. And, if you've never seen
them live, rectify that as soon as humanly possible. 5/15/2004
