This is
a great record of lasting worth and merit. Failing that it is perfect for
this summer. If you can't wait for summer it's perfect now. Sort of a
cross-pollination of Arto Lindsay, Thievery Corporation, and just a wee bit
of Os Mutantes with a side of Avalanches .although with less apparent
structure and much more mellowness. Beyond sounding good, the songs taste
good. This music invites languor, stupor and insists on a slow summer
attitude. Check into the Gran Hotel Buenos Aires and luxuriate in the large
fluffy towels (I will not even inquire as to how you got wet), drink on the
lanai and submit to the sonic breeze blowin your mind. 4/16/2004
