The second solo album from ex-Pavement co-founder Scott Kannberg (aka Spiral Stairs) is a bit more focused than his fine solo debut. It’s loaded with tuneful, laid-back indie-rock that often veers into alt-country territory. The album was recorded here in Seattle (Spiral’s been hanging out here lately) with members of Wilco and Scott McCaughey helping out.
