The latest solo album from Grant Lee Buffalo’s former frontman is a gorgeous outing of mellow, country-tinged folk-rock. The relaxed sound features lots of rich acoustic instrumentation (including prominent fiddle from Eric Gorfain), and Grant-Lee continues to grow as a songwriter – these are some of his most subtle and emotionally powerful songs to date. 1/26/2004
