A wonderful live album from one of the greatest folk-country songwriters, who unfortunately died of a heart attack on New Year's Day at the age of 52. The stripped-down sound (featuring just fiddle and guitar) is ideal for Townes's evocative melancholy. This 1993 recording was first issued on a small Austin label.
