Beat Happening frontman and K Records founder Calvin Johnson is releasing a new solo album titled A Wonderful Beast this fall. It features some heavy-hitters, with production by Patrick Carney of the Black Keys and backing vocals by Michelle Branch on three of the tracks. Today, Johnson has shared the second single off the album, “Like You Do.” It comes with a video directed by Red Williamson that focuses on Johnson dancing outside amongst shrubbery.
A Wonderful Beast is out October 12 on K Records and is the first album we've received from Johnson since the 2016 Selector Dub Narcotic album This Party Is Just Getting Started.
