Not only are they today's Song of the Day, but Swedish group The Amazing have one of the best new releases this week. KEXP Music Director Don Yates notes the group's fourth LP is "a somewhat bleaker, more intimate take on the band's atmospheric psych-pop, combining shimmering guitars, celestial keyboards, unhurried rhythms, airy melodies and wistful melodies."

Other highlights this week include the live version of Björk’s highly-acclaimed album Vulnicura, comprised of performances from her 2015 tour with the Alarm Will Sound & Heritage Orchestras, and critically acclaimed artists The Haxan Cloak & Arca. (If you can wait until September, there will be a Luxury Edition boxset edition with a double LP, CD, 320kbps MP3 download card, a set of 6 photo prints housed in a glassine sleeve, and an exclusive 3D Low Polygon Björk Moth Paper Mask.)

Producer Sam Shepherd (better known as Floating Points) shares a new two-track EP of jazz and classical-infused electronica. Gabe Fulvimar (aka Gap Dream) brings the garage-rock fun you would expect from a Burger Records release. And Radric Davis (aka Inmate 65556-019, or Gucci Mane) shares his ninth studio album, his first since being released from prison. And, finally, '90s power-pop bad Velvet Crush (aka, y'know, Velvet Crush) share a collection of 16 previously unreleased tracks, including eight demos and eight tracks recorded live in 1995 at Cabaret Metro in Chicago.
