  • "That’s how it’s DONE!" -- As Conan O’Brien recognized, Charles Bradley & his Extraordinaires brought a fantastic performance to Conan last night. Watch the 67-year-old showman perform "Ain’t It a Sin" off their latest Changes, and you'll most likely agree. Keep up with all the late-night TV highlights with KEXP's TV Eye, and tune in to KEXP this Friday, May 13th for KEXP Soul Day, twelve hours of soul, both new and old, including Mr. Bradley himself. • It's exciting enough that goth-pop legends The Cure are on tour. What's even more exciting is that they're sneaking new material into the set list! Hear audio of two new songs performed last night in New Orleans below, possibly titled "Step Into the Light" and "It Can Never Be the Same." The band's worldwide tour continues through December, with a Memorial Day weekend stop headlining the Sasquatch! Music Festival. Passes still available! [Under the Radar]

  • Diarrhea Planet share a new one today; stream the punky track "Bob Dylan’s Grandma" below. The Nashville boys release their third LP Turn to Gold next month on Infinity Cat, co-engineered and co-produced by Grammy-winning producer Vance Powell. A press release calls it "easily the most sophisticated and complex music" they've made to date, which might be the first time the words "diarrhea" and "sophisticated" have ever been used in a sentence together. Listen below: [Consequence of Sound]

  • The just-released debut from Haiti-born, Montreal-based producer Kaytranada is a current KEXP fave, and today he shares a video for the track "Lite Spots." Director Martin C Pariseau portrays Kaytranada (real name: Louis Kevin Celestin) constructing a robot friend. Check out their adventures below: [Pitchfork]
