  • KEXP Song of the Day alumni "The Legend of Chavo Guerrero" by The Mountain Goats receives the music video treatment today. The clip features none other than wrestling legend Chavo Guerrero himself alongside the band and actor Rob Corddry. Watch below. The Mountain Goats are playing a sold out show on Friday, May 29th at The Showbox, and earlier that day, frontman John Darnielle will kick off KEXP's Hood-to-Hood broadcast with a solo set from West Seattle.   • Local legends The Melvins share a new track today, "Captain Comedown," which will appear on a split tour EP with the band Le Butcherettes titled Chaos as Usual. Stream the track on the band's Facebook page here. Jeff Pinkus of Butthole Surfers steps in on bass. The Melvins are one of many bands playing this year's Bumbershoot Music & Arts Festival on September 6th. [Consequence of Sound]

  • Well, that's creepy: today, I just so happen to be wearing my Ultimate Painting t-shirt, and then they just happen to announce there's a new song.
