Thank goodness, there is still time to vote for Lil BUB's debut album in KEXP's Top 90.3 Albums of 2015 Countdown. (Voting ends this Friday, December 11th, by the way.) Yes, the internet celebri-cat releases her first full-length, which Andrew WK describes as "the sonic equivalent to holding Lil BUB in your own arms." 25% of the net proceeds from the sales of this album benefit Lil BUB's Big FUND for special needs pets.

Fellow icon Bruce Springsteen shares a new release this week, too. KEXP Music Director Don Yates explains, "this expansive 4-CD/3-DVD deluxe edition of Springsteen’s classic 1980 double album The River features the original 1979 single-album version (which Springsteen decided not to release at the time) and a disc of 22 outtakes from The River sessions, the first 11 of which have never been available until now. Ever the perfectionist, Springsteen’s outtakes were often better than most other artists’ released material. The outtakes disc is loaded with solid-to-great songs while the original single-LP version features three songs that wouldn’t make the final cut along with different versions of a couple that did." And a new Kurt Cobain 7″ single hits stores, featuring a home-recorded cover of The Beatles' "And I Love Her" on one side, and a previously-unreleased track on the other. Both songs were originally heard in the recent Cobain biopic Montage Of Heck.

Bilbao by way of Buenos Aires band Capsula release a new live album, Seattle drone-metal duo Sunn O))) share their first new full-length in six years, and Okkervil River celebrate the 10th anniversary of their breakthrough album Black Sheep Boy. This deluxe edition features the original 2005 LP, its companion compilation Black Sheep Boy Appendix, and There Swims A Swan, a collection of previously unreleased covers.
