  • All-girl power trio Ex Hex rocked the stage on Late Night With Seth Meyers last night. Watch the group, led by former Helium/Wild Flag guitarist Mary Timony, perform the track "Hot and Cold" from their Merge Records debut, Rips, below.   • Before The Shins, there was Flake Music, but even then, frontman James Mercer had his mind on that particular body part, naming a song after it. Later this month, Sub Pop and Aural Apothecary will reissue the band's early '90s album, re-mixing and mastering to Mercer's liking.   • Italian-born, Brooklyn-based musician Mauro Remiddi (aka Porcelain Raft) returns with a new single, "Closed Eye Vision," which you can stream below.
