  • Chromeo, the duo of Dave 1 and P-Thugg, have debuted the first song off their upcoming ablum, White Women. They've described the album as being “Better, Funkier, Poppier, Catchier, Happier” and the track "Sexy Socialite" is all that with a little something extra. The single will be available for download on October 29. [CoS]

  • Record Store Day has deemed November 29 Back To Black Friday and has just announced a list of exclusives available that day at participating indie record stores across North America. Participating bands include Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, The Flaming Lips, Band of Horses, Foals, Queens Of The Stone Age, Low, Duran Duran, and many many others. Check out the full list HERE.

  • Lorde's hit track "Royals" has been mashed up with M.I.A.'s classic "Paper Planes" by DJ Mike Biggz. Lorde's soulful vocals blend nicely with the hard hitting gunfire sounds of "Paper Planes." As far as mash ups go, this one is pretty solid. [CoS]

  • Texas band Midlake shared the video for their recent track "Antiphone." It's a very artistic venture with psychedelic and colorful, layered visuals. Their new album, Anitphone, will be out November 11 via ATO. [Stereogum]

  • A while back, Rustie produced a remix of Pusha-T's 2011 track "Trouble on My Mind" but the track was never released. Luckily the Scottish producer decided to share his insane mix, which features Tyler the Creator, with the masses. There's really only one word to describe it: killer. [Pitchfork]
