Tears Run Rings make dreamy shoegaze that would make Slowdive proud. The American multi-city band released a four-song EP, Somewhere, on October 19. Our Song of the Day, “Helios Heliadae,” is the EPs gorgeously hazy opener that originally premiered on KEXP here. Somewhere marks the band's first time working with Kurt Feldman (Ice Choir, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, The Depreciation Guild), who mixed all the tracks, and follows 2016’s full-length In Surges.
