  • Tame Impala will release a live edition EP, aptly titled Live Versions, on Record Store Day (April 19). According to a press release the band's goal was "to give fans something they won't already have; something they've only previously experienced at a Tame Impala show." It was recorded last year during a concert in Chicago. Take a listen to the live rendition of the 2012 track "Be Above It," below. [Pitchfork]

  • Last year, James Blake and Chance the Rapper's killer "Life Round Here (Remix)" collaboration was a total musical game changer. Yesterday, Chance shared an alternate version of "Life Round Here (Remix)" called "Save Yourself First." You can check it out below. It seems the dynamic duo are continuing this brilliant partnership by living together in LA while working on a full album. There's no word on a release date, but no matter how long it takes it'll be worth it. [Stereogum]

  • Indie-rock guitarist William Tyler will release his 12" Lost Colony on April 29. Today he has shared the first new single, an inspiring, instrumental track called "Whole New Dude." It's a sprawling 13-minute escape that will surely sooth any hump day blues. [Stereogum]

  • Terrence Thornton, better known as Pusha T teamed up with rapper ASAP Ferg for their brand new track "Hand in my Pocket." The song will be featured on a mixtape, Loud Dreams Vol. 1, that is being produced by duo Sean C & LV (Jay Z's American Gangster). The mixtape will also feature music from Big K.R.I.T., Busta Rhymes, Jadakiss, and more. It drops on March 25. [CoS]
