  • Last night, Beck finally performed his first concert of material from last year's full sheet music album, Song Reader.   • These New Puritans debuted an unfinished (yet still gorgeous) new track called "And It's Risen" yesterday on BBC Radio 1. They've just released their third studio album Field of Reeds, but it doesn't seem like they're slowing down on churning out new material. [Pitchfork]

  • We're only days away from the highly anticipated release of Jay- Z's twelfth studio album, Magna Carta Holy Grail. He's never lacking in the famous friends/collaborators department, and the lead single is chock-full of them. "Holy Grail" was co-written by The-Dream, produced by Timbaland, and Justin Timberlake's soothing falsetto tops it off. There's even lyrics from Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" sprinkled in the mix. [CoS]
