  • Shabazz Palaces and Animal Collective turn out to be a surprising and perfectly matched pair on the new Shabazz remix of the band's "New Town Burnout". Palaceer Lazaro adds his own verse to the song, which gets a new ominous sci-fi treatment. The song appears on Animal Collective's upcoming remix EP Monkey Been to Burn Town, which is available on the 28th vi Domino. [CoS]

  • If Kurt Vile's TV spot for "Never Run Away" was too cute for you, there's a new official video for the song. It follows Vile as he wanders the desolate gray streets of Philly on a "pretty day". Check out the HARRYS-directed clip below. [CoS]

  • Vampire Weekend played six brand new songs on a BBC Raio 1 special at the Maida Vale studio.
