Toronto-based masked country musician Orville Peck released his debut album, Pony, last month via Sub Pop. Our Song of the Day is the record's lead single and opening track, “Dead of Night.” Peck’s wounded baritone croons out an evocative story of drifters in love, and the memories that haunt long after it’s over.

The salacious video for the song, created by Michael Maxxis, follows Peck and his posse of companions – a washed up gambler, a Cubano boxer, a Senegalese cowgirl, and a Wild West club kid – on an adventure to Nevada’s legendary Chicken Ranch brothel and features a number of the ladies who work there.

Watch the video below. Peck is currently on tour behind Pony and will be in Seattle on Saturday, May 18 at Barboza.
