Kitchen Sessions: Music That Inspires

Come to the table with CD Forum, 206 Zulu and KEXP for an unforgettable night of food, drink, performance and conversation with some of Seattle’s most inspiring Black artists and a celebration of the Black musical icons that inspire them.
 

Hosted by award-winning poet and Person of Letters, Imani Sims, “Kitchen Sessions: Music That Inspires” will amplify the voices of Black female-identifying and gender non-conforming artists - like storyteller Sholonda Higgins; breakdancer Taqueet$; cellist Ebony Miranda; and the poet/filmmaker Kamari Bright - and put you directly in conversation with artists about their work, and the music that inspires them.
