The late country-rock pioneer gets his due with this excellent 2-CD compilation collecting his late '60s-early '70s recordings with the International Submarine Band, the Byrds, the Flying Burrito Brothers and his later solo work. Not only has Parsons influenced countless alt-country musicians over the years, but his own soulful kind of country-rock still holds up well today.
