While Mark Lanegan was the primary singer on this British duo’s last two albums, their fourth full-length features guest lead vocals and lyrics from Depeche Mode’s Dave Gahan, and his dramatic vocals and confessional lyrics also make for a good fit for the duo’s brooding, atmospheric rock sound with acoustic guitar, ominous strings, bluesy organ and choral backing vocals. 6/1/2012
