The British singer-songwriter’s first album of new material in six years (and only her second since 1993’s The Red Shoes) is a lovely set of dreamy, sensual, myth-laden art-pop incorporating elements of classical and jazz on lengthy, piano-driven songs with wintry, minimalist soundscapes that gently unfurl at a glacial pace while being delicately fleshed out with jazz-tinged rhythms and subtle electronic and guitar textures. Special guests include Elton John, Andy Fairweather Low and Stephen Fry. 11/23/2011
