This Brooklyn-via-Ridgewood, NJ band’s second album improves upon their promising 2009 debut with stronger songwriting, tighter, more confident musicianship and a cleaner sound courtesy of producer Kevin McMahon (The Walkmen, Titus Andronicus). Days is a sublime outing of dreamy beach-pop with a breezy, understated sound combining jangly, reverbed guitars, gentle rhythms, hazy, wistful vocals, nostalgic lyrics and shimmering pop melodies. 10/14/2011
