The second album from the Texas-raised, Brooklyn-based Neon Indian (aka Alan Palomo) is another first-rate set of hazy, ‘80s-influenced electro-pop, with a murky lo-fi sound combining vintage synths, video-game effects, churning guitar noises, pulsing rhythms, half-buried vocals, nostalgic melodies and lyrics of lost love into trippy pop gems. 9/13/2011
