The debut album from San Francisco's Luis Vasquez (aka The Soft Moon) is a powerful blend of dark post-punk and goth-influenced synth-pop, with a brooding, sinister sound featuring eerie keyboard lines, driving rhythms and occasional icy, whispered vocals, recalling at times Suicide, Joy Division and Bauhaus. 2/18/2011
