The debut full-length from this LA band spearheaded by Dee Dee is a first-rate set of brooding fuzz-pop combining the lo-fi noise-pop aesthetic of the Vaselines with hazy lead vocals, ‘60s girl-group harmonies, Spectorian melodrama and buzzing guitar riffs influenced by both surf music and the Jesus & Mary Chain. 3/12/2010
