- (Anti)
The second of two simultaneously released albums from Tom Waits is an unsettling work of spooky, doom-laden and seriously twisted cabaret music. The harsh, clanking rhythms of Waits's '90s albums show up on a few songs, but it's the foreboding and yet utterly attractive melodies that stand out the most here - imagine Tin Pan Alley if it was located in Hell. 4/15/2002
